As a native of Oregon now living in Colorado, and a lover of nature, I am constantly inspired by the natural beauty we see all around us.   A beautiful sunrise or sunset.  The reflection of a pond.  The mountains. The gold leaves of the aspens in the fall.  The colorful, quirky birds. The amazing skies.  The animals that roam our outdoors and the dogs that we call “Man’s Best Friend”.   I am drawn to paint them!

 

 I find great joy bringing the colors and images that I see to life on paper through watercolor.  Creating a painting that when looked at, fills someone’s heart with emotion. It may be joy, happiness, or even a funny thought.  The same piece of art can spark a very different emotion in each of us, captivating us by its beauty.  

 

Over the years I have enjoyed taking many classes from very talented and inspiring artists.  I have learned so much from each and every one of them.  The sharing of their experience, talents and skills are immeasurable as I travel my own journey as an artist.

 

What started out as a hobby has now become a business, allowing me do what I love.  Thank you for taking the time to visit my website, and letting me share my paintings and love of art.
